Barrancas del Cobre
This destination is located in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara are the majestic Copper Canyon, named for the coppery tone of its walls. They are the longest and deepest ravines, even more than those of the Grand Canyon of Arizona. Its imposing copper walls protect legends, traditions of the Rarámuri or Tarahumara who preserve their ancestral lifestyle. These ravines have been their home for centuries and their lives intertwine with the mountains. In them you can find forests that have for you various activities such as camping, bird watching or simply admire the contrasting vegetation along the way. The ever changing shades and shapes of the sierra seem to melt on the horizon.
